- Entry must contain some elements that were turned on a wood lathe.

John Lane - This Bowl is 14†in diameter and 4†deep piece of Poplar.

John Lane - This Hollow Form is 5†in diameter and 7†tall piece of cherry with a basket weave illusion.

John Lane - 10†Cherry Peppermill Grinder that involved multi-axis turning then cut on a bandsaw and glued back together in a different orientation.

Jon Springer - 7" wide and 4"deep Chokecherry and Blue Resin

Martha Black - Pen is made of ebony wood with Swarovski clear crystals and black enamel findings.

Martha Black - This is an open form vase made from Apricot wood

Jeff Trotter - Civil War Mountain Howitzer 1/4 Scale The processes I used included: turning, casting, forging, welding and finishing. The barrel was cast in bronze from a turned maple split pattern. The segmented wheels were turned with walnut. The remaining parts of the carriage were made with mild steel, brass and walnut

Bob Flint - It is 8" in diameter bowl. Wood is cherry. It is a water drop illusion with a carved star. It was photographed on a mirror to a bit of the beads on the side.

Dave Boyd - Abstract tree-fruit bowl, 27"L x 7.5"W x 5.5"Ht: Made from Mesquite Branch segments. Represents the various aspects of the trees we use to form our bowls and other objects from a different point of view. Also makes an interesting fruit bowl.

Dave Boyd - Sunset at Hooper Bay, Segmented 13" x 6.5". Woods: Dark Walnut, Maple, Bloodwood, Yellow and Red Heart. Feature ring: closed chain ring with Scallops above. Represents some of the amazing sunsets viewed in Western AK. with a native twist
